Body of Chhatra League Leader Arif Found in Front of His House in Bhola

The police in Bhola have discovered the body of Saifulloah Arif (30), a leader of the banned Chhatra League, in front of his own house. The victim’s family has alleged that he was hacked to death by miscreants.

Arif, who was the Vice President of the banned Chhatra League in Bhola Sadar Upazila, was also the son of Bashir Uddin from Ward 3 of Bhola Municipality.

Locals reported that they found Arif’s bloodied body lying in front of his house and immediately alerted the police. The authorities arrived at the scene and sent the body to the morgue for an autopsy. However, the exact motive behind the murder remains unclear at this stage.

Bhola’s Superintendent of Police, Shariful Islam, confirmed that it has been initially determined as a murder. He added that the police are conducting an investigation to uncover the reasons behind the crime.
