Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra are facing allegations of obtaining ₹60 crore from a businessman under the pretext of investment. Following these claims, the Mumbai Police has issued a Look-Out Notice against the couple, and the case is being investigated by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
According to Indian media reports, the accused duo reportedly took the money from the businessman in connection with their now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Private Limited.
The complainant, Deepak Kothari, alleges:
| Aspect | Allegation Details |
| Accused | Shilpa Shetty, Raj Kundra |
| Complainant | Deepak Kothari |
| Time Period | 2015–2023 |
| Company Involved | Best Deal TV Private Limited |
| Amount | ₹60 crore |
| Alleged Misuse | Personal expenditure instead of business expansion |
| Legal Action | Look-Out Notice issued; case investigated by EOW |
Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra have denied all allegations, stating that the claims are completely baseless and motivated by malice. They assert that the case is an attempt to defame them rather than a genuine legal complaint.
This high-profile case has created a media frenzy in India, with the focus on the alleged financial misconduct and the couple’s denial of wrongdoing.
