What the Education Board Has Announced Regarding the Publication of HSC Results

The Dhaka Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education along with the Inter-Education Board Sub-Committee has stated that the official date for the publication of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examination results will be fixed once the evaluation of answer scripts is fully completed.

Professor Dr Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and Coordinator of the Inter-Education Board Sub-Committee, told the media that the scrutiny of answer scripts is currently in progress, and once all processes are finalised, the results will be announced.

 

According to Professor S. M. Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations at the Dhaka Education Board, teachers have been given more time than usual for assessment this year.

  • Previously: Teachers were allotted 15 days for evaluation.
  • This year: For many subjects, the duration has been extended up to 20 days.

He expressed hope that the results could be released by mid-October, roughly within 60 days of the examination.
