The Amar Ekushey Book Fair 2026 will commence on 17 December 2025, following considerations of the upcoming national parliamentary elections and the observance of the holy month of Ramadan.
This information was disclosed on Thursday, 18 September, in a press release signed by Professor Mohammad Azam, Director General of Bangla Academy.
A meeting to finalise the dates of the book fair was held on Thursday afternoon at the Shaheed Munir Chowdhury Auditorium of Bangla Academy.
