Army Chief General Waker-uz-Zaman has urged members of the EME Corps to acquire skills through modern and contemporary training to be prepared for the challenges of the twenty-first century. He made this statement at the EME Corps Annual-2025 Commanders’ Conference, held yesterday at the Mechanical Building conference hall of the EME Centre and School in Saidpur Cantonment, Nilphamari.
The Inter-Services Public Relations Department (ISPR) reported that during the conference, the Army Chief highlighted the proud traditions of the EME Corps and their contributions to the service of the nation, providing guidance to unit commanders and other officers present on the development of the Corps and the Bangladesh Army. He expressed hope that each member of the Corps will set an exemplary standard of national service in the future.
Upon arriving at the EME Centre and School, the Army Chief was welcomed by the GOC Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Colonel Commandant and Chairman of RIB of the EME Corps, the GOC of the 66 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Rangpur Area, and the Commandant of EME C&S.
