The Bangladesh U-17 Women’s Football Team are continuing their intensive training at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimphu, which serves as the main venue for the upcoming SAFF Championship.
Emran Hsan Emon, coach of the Bangladesh U-19 women’s team, stated that the squad is currently in strong shape and the players are confident about achieving good results in the tournament.
“First of all, I want to thank the Bangladesh Football Federation for sending the team to Bhutan a few days prior to the tournament. The girls have almost adjusted to the local weather and are prepared to perform well on the field,” said Emon in a statement on Monday.
He further added that the day’s training session was productive, as the team focused on improving areas where they had previously faced challenges.
Ishita Tripura, one of the players, mentioned that while the day’s session was effective, adjusting to the local weather remains a challenge.
“The team’s condition is good, and we are working very hard during the training sessions,” Ishita said.
When asked about the team’s objectives, Ishita confidently stated that their goal is to become champions of the tournament.
