Sayeed was reportedly travelling along the Gopalganj–Tungipara road when he lost control of his motorcycle near the Nilfa Bazar intersection.

The vehicle veered off its course and struck a concrete road island with considerable force. The impact of the collision left the young rider with catastrophic injuries.
