Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has seized a foreign-made pistol, one magazine, and three bullets in a successful operation conducted in Goalpara village, under Jibannagar upazila of Chuadanga district.
According to an official press release issued by BGB-58 Battalion at midday, the raid was carried out by a team from the Notunpara Border Outpost (BOP) under Maheshpur BGB-58 Battalion. Acting on a tip-off, the operation was launched around 6:00 AM, targeting a brick kiln in the village where the arms and ammunition were suspected to be hidden.
The seized items were recovered without incident and have since been handed over to Jibannagar Police Station for further investigation and legal procedures.
