A Delhi court has ordered that Anmol Bishnoi be kept in police custody for 11 days. Earlier this year, in April, Anmol was arrested in the United States. He is named in 31 criminal cases in India, which include the infamous murder of Sidhu Moosewala and the alleged involvement in the killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui.
Moreover, Anmol is linked to a 2022 gun attack on Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, which has raised suspicions of an assassination attempt. Police had been searching for him ever since.
In 2022, Anmol fled through Nepal, Dubai, and Kenya before finally reaching the United States, where he was arrested.
