IDRA Announces Written Exams for Four Key Posts

The Bangladesh Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has officially announced the schedule for the written examinations for four significant positions within the organisation. The posts include Assistant Director, Officer, Computer Operator, and Data Entry/Control Operator. The announcement was issued on Thursday, 29 January 2026, by the Administration-1 Division of IDRA. The examinations are scheduled to take place on 7 February 2026.

According to the official notice, the exams will be conducted in accordance with the memorandum dated 23 April 2025 (Ref. No. 53.03.0000.000.00.008.11.0002.25-21). All candidates who applied online are required to appear at their designated examination centres on the specified date and time.

Candidates have been instructed to download their admit cards from the official IDRA website before entering the examination hall. The notice clearly emphasises that no candidate will be allowed entry without a valid admit card.

The notification was signed by Ahmed Ehsan Ul Hannan, Director and Deputy Secretary of IDRA’s Administration-1 Division. He urged all candidates to arrive on time and strictly adhere to the examination rules and guidelines.

The application process for these positions began in May 2025, attracting qualified candidates from across the country. Through these examinations, IDRA aims to recruit competent personnel to enhance the efficiency and development of Bangladesh’s insurance sector.

All updates regarding exam preparation, instructions, and results will be regularly posted on IDRA’s official website, ensuring candidates remain fully informed throughout the selection process. This initiative forms part of a broader effort to strengthen human resources in the insurance industry, aligning with national development priorities and supporting effective administration, management, and regulatory oversight.
