In a chilling incident in Munshiganj’s Sirajdikhan Upazila, police have recovered the bloodied bodies of a mother and her young daughter from their rented residence. The tragic discovery occurred on Monday, 19 January, at approximately 12:30 pm in South Rajanagar village of Rajanagar Union.
The deceased have been identified as Amena Begum, aged 35, and her 10-year-old daughter, Mariam. Both were residing as tenants in the home of local resident Nuruzzaman Sarkar.
According to local sources and police officials, neighbours noticed the bodies inside the house and immediately alerted the authorities. Sirajdikhan police arrived at the scene promptly and recovered the bodies for further investigation.
