During the meeting, the two sides discussed the potential for Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet to improve services at Bangladesh’s airports.

SpaceX, the parent company of satellite-based internet provider Starlink, is exploring the feasibility of introducing its services at airports in Bangladesh, aiming to enhance passenger connectivity.

A discussion on the subject took place between Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) Chairman Air Vice Marshal Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan and SpaceX Global Engagement Advisor Richard H. Griffiths at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) in Dhaka, CAAB confirmed in a press release.

During the meeting yesterday, the two sides discussed the potential for Starlink’s high-speed satellite internet to improve services at Bangladesh’s airports. The CAAB chairman welcomed SpaceX’s interest and expressed optimism about future collaboration.

The latest discussions follow a recent conversation between SpaceX founder Elon Musk and Chief Adviser Prof. Muhammad Yunus, in which they explored the need to bring Starlink’s services to Bangladesh and accelerate its implementation.
