The award-giving ceremony was attended by several prominent policymakers and corporate leaders, reflecting the national importance of good governance in economic development. The chief guest, Adviser to the Ministry of Commerce Sheikh Bashir Uddin, emphasised in his address that sustainable economic growth and a stable investment environment are impossible without strong corporate governance. The event was further enriched by the presence of Lutfe Siddiqi, Special Envoy on International Affairs to the Chief Adviser, as guest of honour.
