Bollywood superstar Salman Khan sustained injuries while shooting for the upcoming film Battle of Galwan in India’s Ladakh region. The shooting had been ongoing in Ladakh for about a month and a half when reports of the actor’s injury emerged.
According to Indian media, Salman Khan was hurt during the filming of an action-fighting sequence, sustaining several injuries. Despite the setback, the shoot reportedly continued on schedule.
The film’s shoot took place in freezing conditions, amidst Ladakh’s snow-covered landscapes. While the entire shoot was scheduled for approximately 45 days, Salman was slated to film for 15 days, during which multiple fight sequences and emotionally charged scenes were completed.
Sources reported that the region’s temperature fell below 10°C, and oxygen levels were lower than usual, creating a challenging environment. It was in these extreme conditions that the actor sustained injuries. Consequently, he will take a brief rest period, delaying parts of the shoot.
Salman is expected to resume shooting in Mumbai once he has fully recovered.
The film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is slated for release in August 2026. Early promotional glimpses of Salman in a bloodied and battle-ready avatar have already excited fans across India, hinting at the intensity and scale of the upcoming project.
