Afghanistan’s star cricketer Rashid Khan has confirmed his second marriage, nearly ten months after his first wedding.
On Tuesday (11 November), Rashid shared a picture on his Instagram account with his second wife, publicly acknowledging the marriage.
Reports indicate that the leg-spinner tied the knot for the second time on 2 August. His new wife is of Afghan origin and currently resides abroad.
Rashid’s first marriage took place in October last year in Kabul, where he and his three brothers all married in a joint ceremony.
It is not yet clear whether Rashid has legally divorced his first wife. Several years ago, the Afghan cricketer made headlines by pledging not to marry until he won the World Cup.
