Two children tragically lost their lives in two separate road accidents today in the Companiganj upazila of Noakhali district.
The victims have been identified as Md. Yasin, aged 7, the son of Md. Wasim from Abdur Rashid Majhi’s house in Ward No. 5 of Char Fakira union, and Tamim, aged 8, the son of Sahab Uddin from Zaker’s house in Ward No. 3 of the same union.
Details of the Incidents
Accident 1: Tamim’s Tragic Death
This morning, Tamim was struck by a battery-run auto-rickshaw while attempting to cross the road in front of his house. He was immediately rushed to Companiganj Upazila Health Complex, but sadly succumbed to his injuries en route.
Accident 2: Yasin’s Fatal Collision
In a separate incident, Yasin was hit by an auto-rickshaw near his home while on his way to attend madrasa. He sustained critical injuries and was taken to the same health complex, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.
