10-Hour Power Outage Scheduled in These Areas Today

Due to line repair and maintenance work, power supply will remain suspended for 10 hours today, Wednesday (November 12), in various areas of Sylhet. The outage will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

On Tuesday (November 11), Executive Engineer Md. Abdur Razzak of the Sylhet Power Development Board’s Sales and Distribution Division-2 confirmed the information.

According to the notice, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, there will be no electricity in Shibganj Point, Shibganj Sonarpara, Time Square under the 11 kV Shibganj feeder, and in Block-A of the Housing Estate, Bangladesh Bank Quarters, Block-C, Teroratan, Block-J, Traffic Office, and surrounding areas under the 11 kV Housing Estate feeder.

The Power Development Board has apologized for the temporary inconvenience caused to consumers.
