The Daily Khabarwala, which originated in Kushtia, has celebrated its second anniversary. The celebrations took place yesterday, Wednesday, 1st October, at 8:00 pm in the newspaper’s commercial office, marked by a ceremonial cake-cutting, formal discussions, and exchange of greetings. The event was held under the banner of the newspaper’s slogan, “The World, Seen Locally,” and was attended by a wide array of journalists, publishers, editors, and media representatives.

The ceremony also saw the participation of Munshi Shaheen Ahmed, Acting Editor of the print edition of Daily Khabarwala, Amin Hasan, Executive Editor, Anjan Krishna Shil Shuvo, News Editor, Ranjuur Rahman, Special Correspondent, and other district and upazila representatives of the newspaper.
During the anniversary celebrations, journalists and staff shared the joy of the occasion by cutting the ceremonial cake and exchanging greetings. The event also included discussions aimed at strengthening collaboration and professional ties among the newspaper’s journalists and correspondents. By hosting this anniversary, the newspaper conveyed a message of social and cultural solidarity to its readers, journalists, and publishing community, in alignment with its motto, “The World, Seen Locally.”
Having begun in Kushtia, Daily Khabarwala now publishes online on a national scale in both Bengali and English. Overcoming local limitations, the newspaper has extended its reach to readers across the country. The online edition enables audiences not only in Kushtia but throughout Bangladesh to access its news reports, articles, and analyses. This expansion has enhanced the newspaper’s influence and visibility while representing a significant step towards integrating modern online journalism with traditional reporting standards.
