UK’s Starmer to Attend Middle East Peace Summit in Egypt

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer is scheduled to attend a Middle East peace summit on Monday for the signing ceremony of the Gaza deal, following a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas, his office confirmed.

According to Downing Street, the Prime Minister will travel to Egypt to participate in the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit, taking place in the well-known seaside resort town.

“The Prime Minister will travel to Egypt to attend the Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit on Monday,” Downing Street stated on Saturday.

The summit is expected to include the attendance of US President Donald Trump, among other international leaders.

Prime Minister Starmer is set to attend the signing ceremony of the peace plan for Gaza, an event described by officials as marking a historic turning point for the region after two years of conflict and bloodshed.
