Teenager Dies of Electrocution in Panchagarh

A teenager named Asif (16) died after being electrocuted in Tentulia upazila of Panchagarh.

The incident occurred on Thursday (October 30) evening at his home in Chutchutiyagachh village under Tirnoi Hat Union of Tentulia upazila in the district.

It has been learned that the deceased, Asif, was the son of Nur Jamal of the same area.

According to police and family sources, Asif was installing a new electric bulb holder in front of the kitchen at his home in the evening when he suddenly received an electric shock and fell to the ground. Family members immediately rescued him and took him to the Tentulia Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Meanwhile, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tentulia Model Police Station Musa Mia confirmed the incident, saying that the body had been handed over to the family as there was no complaint.
