Looters and Bandit Groups Cannot Benefit the People: Rizvi

Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, has stated that if the state becomes a place for the looting of individuals or groups, the political party involved transforms into looters, bandits, monsters, and demons. Such a party will not benefit the people.

On Tuesday (18th November) afternoon, speaking as the chief guest at a free medical camp in Bogura on the occasion of BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman’s birthday, he made these remarks.

Rizvi further stated that those who betray their own country and its people always meet a terrible fate.

The senior BNP leader also mentioned that yesterday’s judgment has proven that Allah delivers justice in this world. He claimed that the government of Sheikh Hasina spent 8,000 crore Taka to conduct votes at night instead of during the day, with 3,000 crore Taka going to administrative officials.

Under the chairmanship of Atiqur Rahman Ruman, convener of ‘We are BNP Family’, a day-long program of various social service activities was held. Through the free medical camp, eye and heart disease patients were treated by specialists.

Additionally, as part of the program, a blood donation campaign was held, and wheelchairs were distributed among poor people who have become disabled for various reasons. Fertilizers and seeds were distributed among farmers, and clothing and gloves were given to workers.
