The Prosecution has filed a contempt of court petition against BNP leader Fazlur Rahman for making disparaging remarks about the International Crimes Tribunal. The Tribunal has set the next hearing date for Sunday (30 December).
On Wednesday (26 November), the single bench of Tribunal-1, presided over by retired District and Sessions Judge Md Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury, fixed the date.
The information was confirmed by Prosecutor Gazi M H Tamim.
He stated that the Prosecution has submitted a contempt of court application to the International Crimes Tribunal against Advocate Fazlur Rahman.
