Global Superstars Set to Light Up the 2026 FIFA World Cup Draw in Washington DC

The stage is set for one of world football’s most glamorous nights as the official draw ceremony for the 2026 FIFA World Cup takes place this Friday at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington DC. Far beyond a traditional draw event, this year’s ceremony promises a spectacle of entertainment, star power, and world-class performances designed to captivate millions of viewers across the globe.

The event will be co-hosted by internationally renowned supermodel, producer, and Emmy Award–winning television icon Heidi Klum, alongside celebrated American comedian Kevin Hart. Actor and producer Danny Ramirez will also bring his signature energy to the stage, ensuring the audience remains fully entertained throughout the evening.

Klum, who previously appeared at the draw event for the 2006 World Cup in Germany, expressed her excitement at being invited again after nearly two decades. Reflecting on her return, the 52-year-old star said that presenting the Final Draw for a second time feels like an extraordinary honor. She emphasized that the World Cup has a unique power to unite people from all corners of the world and called it a privilege to be part of such a historic moment featuring three host nations and a record 48 participating teams.

The ceremony will not only reveal the group-stage fixtures but also treat the global audience to several live musical performances. Legendary classical tenor Maestro Andrea Bocelli is scheduled to perform, accompanied by British pop sensation Robbie Williams. Award-winning American singer Nicole Scherzinger will also take the stage, adding further star appeal to the evening.

After the official draw concludes, iconic pop group Village People will deliver a high-energy performance of their world-famous hit “Y.M.C.A.,” a song synonymous with global celebrations.

While the entertainment lineup has been confirmed, FIFA is expected to announce the list of football personalities who will conduct the team selection process at a later stage. Millions of fans around the world are expected to tune in live through FIFA’s official digital platforms to witness the grand reveal of the 2026 World Cup groups.
