Massive Tech Fair Hits Dhaka Tomorrow — Discounts, Gifts and Daily Concerts Await!

The much-anticipated ‘City IT Mega Fair 2025’ is set to commence tomorrow, Monday, at the BCS Computer City in Agargaon, Dhaka. Organised under the inspiring slogan ‘Power of Technology, Progress of Youth’, the six-day exhibition aims to celebrate innovation, promote digital literacy, and bring the latest technology to consumers at affordable prices. The fair will continue until 13 December, offering a week-long showcase of cutting-edge gadgets, competitive prices, and exciting entertainment.

The grand opening ceremony will take place at 11:00 am on the ground floor of BCS Computer City. The event will be graced by the presence of Mohamed Zahurul Islam, President of the Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), who will attend as the chief guest. A vibrant inaugural programme featuring music, special guests and thematic presentations has been planned to mark the beginning of the fair.

As in previous years, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of exclusive deals, including product discounts, cashback offers and guaranteed gifts on selected purchases. Buyers of laptops, desktops, gaming accessories, printers, routers, smart devices and other technology products will have the opportunity to choose from a diverse collection of brand-new releases and best-selling models. Many stalls are expected to feature limited-time flash deals to attract young tech enthusiasts.

This year’s fair is also set to provide significant entertainment value. Each day, visitors can look forward to live concerts, interactive activities and a raffle draw, ensuring that the fair offers both shopping and fun. A special segment titled Tech Celebrity Chat will bring together well-known tech reviewers, influencers and gaming personalities, allowing fans to engage with prominent faces from Bangladesh’s digital community.

On 12 December at 10:00 am, the fair will host the Gigabyte Children’s Art Competition, an event designed to encourage creativity and introduce children to the world of technology through artistic expression. Last year, the competition attracted hundreds of young participants, and organisers expect even greater enthusiasm this time.

A number of major international brands will participate in the fair, including ASUS, HP, Lenovo, MSI, Epson, LDNIO, TP-Link and more. These companies are expected to showcase their latest laptops, gaming rigs, monitors, printers, network devices and accessories. Alongside them, several well-known partner brands such as Walton, Dell, Deepcool, Acer, Bitrack and T&V will also exhibit their top-selling and newly-released products.

The City IT Mega Fair has long been regarded as one of the most significant annual events in Bangladesh’s technology sector. It brings together retailers, distributors, consumers and tech lovers under one roof, serving as a platform for promoting digital transformation and driving market competitiveness. Organisers expect a strong turnout this year, especially from students, young professionals and gamers eager to explore the latest innovations.

The event promises not only attractive prices and exciting prizes but also a vibrant atmosphere where technology meets creativity. With its diverse programme and extensive brand participation, the 2025 edition is poised to be one of the most successful technology fairs to date.
