Seventeen Tops K-Pop on 2025 Billboard Chart

South Korean boy band Seventeen has claimed the top spot on Billboard’s 2025 “K-Pop Artist 100” chart, marking a significant milestone in their decade-long career. According to a recent report by The Korea Herald, Billboard officially released the chart in the United States on 23 December, highlighting the global impact of the thirteen-member group. Impressively, all thirteen members of Seventeen secured the top thirteen positions on the list.

Billboard noted that Seventeen’s consistent performance across South Korea, the United States, and other international markets contributed to their dominant position. This year, the band has reached new heights in their career, further cementing their status as one of the leading acts in K-Pop.

Ahead of their upcoming tour, Seventeen has already sold 964,000 tickets, securing the 17th spot on Billboard’s “Top Tours” ranking. Within the K-Pop genre, this achievement ranks as the second-highest ticket sale. The band is scheduled to resume their tour in February, performing at four major stadiums across Asia.

Formed under Pledis Entertainment in 2015, Seventeen—often stylised as SVT—has garnered attention for being a self-producing idol group. The members actively participate in songwriting, composition, and choreography, a trait that has become a hallmark of their artistry. Their dedicated fanbase, known as “Carats,” has been instrumental in propelling their global success.

Seventeen’s rise on the Billboard chart is not only a testament to their musical talents but also to their ability to engage and maintain an international audience over the years. With a combination of chart-topping releases, dynamic performances, and a strong fan community, Seventeen continues to set benchmarks for K-Pop acts worldwide.
