Independent candidate for Dhaka-9 and former National Citizens Party (NCP) leader, Tasnim Zara, has formally disclosed her detailed income and assets—both domestic and international—alongside her election nomination papers. According to her sworn affidavit, Tasnim Zara earns an annual income of BDT 713,597 from her professional medical practice in Bangladesh. In addition, she generates approximately GBP 3,200 (around BDT 527,000) per year from her medical and related work in the United Kingdom. Combined, her total declared annual income amounts to BDT 1,240,597.

Her husband, entrepreneur and researcher Khaled Saifullah, earns GBP 39,800 annually from overseas engagements, equivalent to roughly BDT 6,050,000.
