HotWax Announce 2026 UK and Europe Tour

Hastings-based emerging trio HotWax have unveiled an extensive headline tour across the United Kingdom and Europe for January and February 2026. Following the critical acclaim and fan enthusiasm for their debut album Hot Shock, this 22-date tour marks a major milestone for the band, signalling their rise as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts. Audiences can expect a mix of intimate independent venues, major city stages, and select European performances, promising a vibrant and immersive live experience.

The first four UK shows will take place as part of Independent Venue Week, highlighting HotWax’s enduring support for smaller, grassroots music spaces. The remaining UK dates are in collaboration with the Music Venue Trust, further underlining the band’s commitment to venue preservation and strengthening the wider music community. Accompanying the trio throughout the tour are supporting acts Ginny & The White Voices and Slag, ensuring each night is charged with energy and a sense of communal excitement.

Hot Shock, released in March 2025, achieved immediate commercial and critical success. It debuted at number one on the UK Record Store Chart and entered the UK Top 40, earning praise for its raw intensity, sharp songwriting, and emotional authenticity. Rough Trade named it Album of the Month, later ranking it 16th in their Top 25 Albums of the Year, cementing HotWax’s status as a band to watch.

The album’s recording process was equally noteworthy. Sessions took place at London’s RAK Studios, with live takes recorded in the presence of friends and collaborators. Additional sessions were held with Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa, and the production was overseen by an all-female team, including Catherine Marks (Boygenius, Wolf Alice) and Steph Marziano, highlighting the band’s dedication to inclusive, collaborative creativity.
