Emerging Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur is currently experiencing a golden phase in her career. However, in recent months, she has been more discussed in the media for rumours linking her romantically with South Indian superstar Dhanush than for her professional accomplishments. Social media buzz suggested that the pair were set to marry on 14 February, Valentine’s Day. Yet, Mrunal herself has dispelled such speculation, offering a measured and candid perspective on marriage and life partners.

In a recent interview promoting her upcoming film Seher, she stated, “Marriage is undoubtedly significant, but only with the right person. In today’s world, choosing the right life partner matters far more than adhering to a particular age.” She added, “It is better to remain single than waste time with the wrong person.”

Mrunal was emphatic about her approach: “I do not believe in marrying for the sake of marriage. I prefer to wait patiently rather than rush into a relationship with someone who isn’t right. I want a partner who will accept my flaws and provide me with emotional strength.”

Discussing the qualities she seeks in a life partner, Mrunal emphasised leadership, respect for her craft, and a capacity to care for her parents as he would his own. “For me, peace and happiness are paramount,” she concluded.

Professionally, Mrunal currently has five projects in hand—two in Telugu and three in Hindi. Additionally, earlier this month, she appeared alongside Dulquer Salmaan in the music video Viggi Viggi, composed by legendary musician A. R. Rahman, which has already garnered significant attention and acclaim.
