The nationally acclaimed television programme Etcetera is set to captivate audiences once again with its special Eid edition. Following last year’s widely celebrated duet performance by Habib Wahid and Pritom Hasan, which resonated deeply with viewers across the country, this year promises an equally memorable musical experience. Habib is taking centre stage with a solo performance, presenting his fans with a unique and immersive musical journey.

The new single, “Bujhi Nai To Egie”, is entirely the product of Habib’s creative vision. From composition and arrangement to vocals and production oversight, every aspect of the track has been meticulously guided by Habib himself. The song’s poignant and heartfelt lyrics have been penned by renowned writer and director S. A. Haque Alik, delivering a profound message of love and friendship:

“Ki je maya lage, koto maya lage, pran bondhuwar laiga amar boro maya lage”

This collaboration marks the reunion of Habib and Alik after nearly seventeen years. Their last joint effort, the solo track “Priti Shikhaili”, concluded a celebrated chapter in their partnership. Critics predict that Habib’s distinctive melodies, combined with Alik’s emotive lyrics, will strike a strong chord with a new generation of listeners, reaffirming their enduring creative synergy.

Production house Fagun Audio Vision has confirmed that the song has been designed to engage audiences both visually and emotionally. During the Eid special, Habib and his ensemble will perform live, interactive renditions that allow viewers to connect with both the music and choreography, creating a participatory and immersive experience.
