Former Advisors Gather for Iftar and Dinner Reception

On Friday, 27 February 2026, a distinguished gathering of the nation’s former advisors was hosted by former Power and Energy Adviser Fawzul Kabir Khan at his official residence on Minto Road. The evening, combining Iftar and a formal dinner, saw participation from senior figures who have previously held pivotal advisory roles in shaping national policy.

The event featured special guest Professor Muhammad Yunus, outgoing Chief Adviser of the interim government, who shared his insights and reflections on contemporary policy issues. Family members of the former advisors also attended, adding a warm and familial dimension to the gathering.

Notable attendees included the recently retired Governor of Bangladesh Bank, Ahsan H. Mansur, and the current Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Mohammad Abdul Momen. Former Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam highlighted on his social media that Fawzul Kabir Khan and his family will be vacating the Minto Road official residence and relocating to a rented property on Saturday, 28 February.
