American rapper Offset was shot on Monday in Florida and is currently receiving medical treatment at a local hospital. The 34-year-old artist, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, sustained gunshot injuries outside a hotel but is reported to be in stable condition under continuous medical supervision.
Offset’s spokesperson confirmed the incident, reassuring fans that he is being closely monitored. “Offset was injured in a shooting and is presently under hospital care. His condition is stable, and he remains under intensive observation,” the statement said.
The Seminole Police Department reported that the incident occurred shortly after 7:00 p.m. in the hotel’s valet area. Emergency personnel swiftly transported Offset to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. The injuries have been described as non-life-threatening.
