New Asia Group Selects Dhaka Bank For Payroll

Dhaka Bank PLC has entered into a strategic corporate partnership by signing a Payroll Banking Agreement with New Asia Group. The contract covers the workforce of the group’s major corporate entities, namely Malek Spinning Mills PLC, Salek Textile Limited, and Denim Asia Limited.

According to an official media release, the signing ceremony and formal exchange of documents were conducted at the New Asia Group head office, located at Tower One One Seven, 117/A, Tejgaon Industrial Area, Dhaka-1208.

Executive Representatives and Signatories

The agreement was formalised by designated leaders from both organizations. Mr H. M. Mostafizur Rahaman, Senior Executive Vice President (SEVP) and Head of the Retail Business Division, executed the contract on behalf of Dhaka Bank PLC. He exchanged the pact with Mr Ghaus Mohammad, Director of Human Resources and Administration, who acted on behalf of New Asia Group.

The event was attended by senior management personnel from both enterprises. Representing Dhaka Bank PLC was Mr Syed Ashraful Amin, Executive Vice President (EVP) and Head of the Kawran Bazar Branch. The executive delegation from New Asia Group comprised several senior financial and administrative officers, including:

• Mr Bidyut Kumar Chaki, Chief Financial Officer

• Mr Syed Saiful Haque, Company Secretary (Malek Spinning Mills PLC)

• Mr Amit Kumar Saha, Chief Financial Officer (RTML PLC)

• Mr Buddhadeb Karmakar, Chief Financial Officer (Denim Asia Limited / KAL)

Other senior officials from both establishments were also in attendance during the proceedings.
