A tragic road traffic collision occurred in the Senbagh Upazila of Noakhali district, resulting in the simultaneous loss of lives of two biological brothers. The incident involved a high-speed motorcycle that lost operator control, leading to a fatal crash that also left a third individual with severe physical injuries.
The road traffic accident transpired on Saturday, 13 June 2026, at approximately 8:30 pm. The precise location of the collision has been identified as an area known as Munshi Dokan, situated within the Kesharpar locality of Senbagh Upazila. This specific site is located along the regional transport route connecting Kankirhat, Chatarpaia, and Sonaimuri.
Immediately following the high-speed impact, local residents and bystanders gathered at the scene of the crash to provide emergency assistance to the victims. Due to the critical nature of the injuries sustained by the occupants of the motorcycle, the local citizens promptly transported the three severely injured individuals to a private medical clinic located in the nearby Chatarpaia Bazar. Upon their arrival at the medical facility, the registered doctor on duty conducted clinical examinations and officially pronounced two of the individuals deceased.
The deceased victims have been formally identified as Asif and Arif, who were biological brothers. They were the sons of Md Alam, a resident of Muslim Swarnakar Bari, situated within Domurua village under the jurisdiction of Senbagh Upazila. According to local verified records, their father, Md Alam, is employed professionally as a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw driver. The news of the simultaneous deaths of his two sons has deeply impacted the local rural community.
The third individual who sustained injuries during the high-speed motorcycle accident has been identified as Shawon, a resident originating from the same local area as the deceased brothers. Following initial emergency triage and stabilization attempts at the private clinic in Chatarpaia Bazar, his medical condition required advanced therapeutic intervention. Consequently, he was transferred and admitted to the Noakhali General Hospital, where he remains under medical supervision for his injuries.
Road traffic accidents involving motorcycles remain a recurring challenge within regional transport infrastructures. Standard medical protocols for such high-impact collisions usually require comprehensive diagnostic imaging, including computerized tomography (CT) scans and X-rays, to evaluate internal trauma, bone fractures, and potential neurological damage. Officer Sarkar noted that a comprehensive overview of the technical factors contributing to the crash—including the speed of the vehicle, potential mechanical failures, or specific road conditions—could only be conclusively detailed once the deployed police personnel returned from the site to the police station with verified field data.
