A 39-year-old delivery driver has been arrested in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, following allegations of sexually assaulting a wheelchair-bound woman with severe mobility issues while delivering pharmaceutical supplies to her residence. The suspect, identified as Qaiser Ali, a resident of nearby Brockton and a Pakistani national, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the incident.
According to police records, the assault occurred on 2 August when Ali arrived at the victim’s home to deliver prescribed medication on behalf of a pharmaceutical delivery service. Investigators allege that Ali entered the property without obtaining the resident’s permission. Once inside, he subjected the vulnerable woman to repeated inappropriate physical contact against her will.
The East Bridgewater Police Department’s detective division formally launched an investigation on 5 August after the incident was reported to law enforcement. Detectives liaised with the delivery service provider to trace the driver’s identity and obtain registration details for the vehicle used during the delivery run.
