Amir Khasru’s Remarks

Renewed Membership Drive
“After a long time, we have the opportunity to organise a structured membership drive again. It is a matter of pride to join the BNP, the country’s largest political party. Every unit must follow proper protocols while enrolling new members, ensuring visibility across mainstream media and social platforms.”

Screening Process
“We must be cautious about whom we admit as members. People with a socially unacceptable background, such as criminals, extortionists, or corrupt individuals, should not be included, as they can damage the party’s image and harm its electoral prospects.”

Transparency and Accountability
“No one should be admitted to the party secretly. Membership should be an open process, with declarations made publicly to maintain the transparency and accountability of the organisation.”

Leadership Presence

The event was presided over by BNP’s Chattogram Divisional Organising Secretary, Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, and conducted by Assistant Organising Secretary, Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin.

Other speakers included:

Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie – BNP’s Joint Secretary General

Ershad Ullah – Convener, BNP Chattogram Metropolitan

The leaders collectively emphasised the importance of the membership drive in strengthening the party’s structure and ensuring clean, effective leadership.
