Police teams conducted operations in the early hours and morning of Wednesday, 26 August, retrieving the bodies from Chandulia and Meitka in Hemayetpur, as well as Laltek in Savar. Members of the Savar Model Police Station arrived at the respective scenes shortly after receiving emergency calls from local residents.

The first incident was reported at dawn in the Chandulia area of Hemayetpur. Local residents discovered the body of an unidentified man hanging from a ceiling beam inside a residence. Upon being alerted, officers from the Savar Model Police Station recovered the body and secured the premises for forensic examination.

In a separate discovery nearby, police recovered the body of a woman from the Meitka area in Hemayetpur. Authorities have not yet been able to establish her identity. Police officers are examining local missing person reports and utilising biometric verification technology to determine who she is.

Meanwhile, officers recovered the body of a young man identified as Mohammad Tanmoy Hossain from a residence in the Laltek neighborhood of Savar. His body was found hanging inside his room. Investigators are assessing all possibilities, examining whether personal distress, family disputes, or foul play led to his death.

All three bodies have been sent to the Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue in Dhaka for autopsies. Confirming the recoveries, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Savar Model Police Station Saiful Alam stated that three separate unnatural death (UD) cases have been filed. He noted that official autopsy reports will clarify the precise causes of death, whilst ongoing investigations aim to establish the full facts behind each incident.
