Teachers from private educational institutions, included in the MPO (Monthly Pay Order) scheme, continue to carry out a movement demanding nationalisation and other rights. As part of this campaign, 10 teacher leaders went to the Secretariat to meet the Education Adviser.

The delegation entered the Secretariat on Wednesday, 13 August, at around 1:30 pm. The group was led by Principal Moin Uddin, Convener of the MPO-Affiliated Education Nationalisation Expectation Alliance, and Principal Delawar Hossain Azizi, Member Secretary of the Alliance.

Earlier, the MPO-affiliated teachers held a mass assembly in front of the National Press Club. Following the assembly, they marched towards the Secretariat to submit their demands and meet the Education Adviser.

The movement underscores the continued efforts of MPO teachers to secure national recognition and rights for their institutions and personnel.
