Russia Claims Capture of Two Villages in Eastern Ukraine

The Russian military announced on Wednesday that it has captured two villages near Dobropillia, a former coal mining town in eastern Ukraine still under Ukrainian control.

Moscow’s Defence Ministry posted on social media, stating:

“The settlements of Suvorovo and Nikanorivka in the Donetsk People’s Republic have been liberated.”

These locations are situated in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region, a key area of ongoing conflict.
