Fraud Case Filed Against Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone

Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone have found themselves in legal trouble, with a fraud case filed against them in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The case also names six other individuals.

According to Indian media reports, the complaint was lodged by lawyer Kirti Singh, who purchased a car in 2022.

  • He paid ₹51,000 in advance to the manufacturer and financed the remaining amount through a loan.
  • Soon after the purchase, the vehicle allegedly developed multiple mechanical issues.
  • Within a short period, a major defect in the accelerator was detected, which could have led to a serious accident.
  • Despite raising complaints with the company, the issues remained unresolved, prompting him to file a lawsuit.

Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s names appear in the case because they are brand ambassadors of the car company and had promoted the vehicle in advertisements. Their involvement is purely in connection with promotional activities, according to the complaint.
