In the third and final T20 of the series at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium, Netherlands captain Scott Edwards won the toss and chose to field first, sending Bangladesh into bat.
Bangladesh had already secured the series with commanding eight-wicket and nine-wicket victories in the first two matches.
Although the series was already won, Bangladesh aimed for a clean sweep by clinching the third match. The hosts have not achieved a whitewash against any opponent since sweeping Afghanistan 2-0 at home in July 2023.
Apart from the series sweep, the team was also preparing for the Asia Cup, prompting five changes in the final match to give squad members international match experience.
