Titumir College Students’ Protest Halts Traffic Flow

Students of Government Titumir College in Dhaka have once again taken to the streets, demanding the establishment of an independent university. On Monday around 12:15 PM, the demonstrators blocked both sides of the road in front of the college.

As a result, vehicular movement between Gulshan-1, Amtali, Jahangir Gate, Mohakhali and surrounding routes came to a complete standstill, causing severe suffering for commuters.

Traffic Police Response

The Gulshan Traffic Division has instructed drivers to use alternative routes until the situation is brought under control. Diversion routes have already been announced for different directions.

Diversion Routes for Vehicles
