13.5% Growth in Remittance Inflows up to 13 September

Bangladesh has recorded a year-on-year growth of 13.5% in remittance inflows, with funds reaching $1,306 million in the first 13 days of September, according to the latest data released by Bangladesh Bank (BB).

  • For comparison, remittance inflows during the same period last year amounted to $1,150 million.

During the period from July to 13 September 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent a total of $6,205 million in remittances. This represents an increase from $5,288 million received in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
