The recent shooting incident at comedian Kapil Sharma’s restaurant in Canada has sparked widespread discussion and debate among netizens in India. Amid the attention, his close friend and fellow actor Akshay Kumar recently made light of the situation with a humorous remark.
According to a report by Indian media, Akshay appeared as a guest on the final episode of The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show. During the episode, he made a playful comment about Kapil’s restaurant, which enlivened the atmosphere of the show.
While chatting on the show, Kapil asked Akshay about his long-standing career: “Are you talented, or do you just have a lot of needs?”
Akshay responded with a witty retort: “You should ask yourself. You’ve done three seasons of this on Netflix. Before that, it was on Sony, and before that, on Colors. Now you’re doing two movies. You’ve opened your own restaurant, and there’s so much business there that even a shooting happened!”
The playful jab drew laughter from both the judges and the audience, while Kapil himself enjoyed the joke and joined in the laughter.
In a twist, Akshay then turned the question back to Kapil: “Now you tell me, are you more talented, or do you just have more needs?”
