Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the celebrated Bollywood director, is facing allegations of fraud, misconduct, and breach of trust. Reports suggest that he is not the only one implicated, as two additional individuals associated with his production team have also been named in the FIR.
According to Indian media reports, the complaint was filed by Prateekraj Mathur, a resident of Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Prateekraj alleges that he was appointed as the line producer for Bhansali’s upcoming film “Love and War”, and a formal agreement was signed to this effect. He had commenced work as scheduled, but claims that the contract was abruptly terminated and he was removed from the project.
Additionally, he asserts that he was not paid the remuneration due to him.
Prateekraj further stated that he tried to meet with Bhansali and his production team after learning about his removal, but he was denied access. He also alleged misconduct and inappropriate behaviour during this attempt.
“Love and War” marks the reunion of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor under Bhansali’s direction, following his previous film “Brahmastra”, directed by Ayan Mukhopadhyay. The movie will also feature Vicky Kaushal.
Given the film’s star-studded cast, particularly the Alia-Ranbir-Deepika combination, audience curiosity and expectations are naturally high.
This news has created a stir among fans and the industry, although the production house has not yet issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
The situation has drawn attention not only for the legal implications but also for potential impact on the film’s release and production schedule.
