The acclaimed family drama series “Eta Amaderi Golpo”, directed by Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj, is set to conclude with a significant cinematic finale. To mark the conclusion of the production, the director has incorporated a special appearance by renowned musicians Arfin Rumey and Dola Rahman. The series finale, an extended episode with a duration of 92 minutes, is scheduled for broadcast on 8 May 2026 at 3:00 pm.
Arfin Rumey and Dola Rahman have shared a long-standing association with the series, having composed and performed the production’s title track. The lyrics for this central musical theme were penned by Mahmud Manjur. Leveraging their existing connection to the project, Director Raj has integrated the duo into the narrative for a pivotal scene in the final chapter.
In this special appearance, Rumey and Rahman will not portray fictional characters; instead, they will appear as themselves in their professional capacity as musicians. During the scene, they are expected to perform the series’ title track. Discussing the collaboration, Arfin Rumey noted that the concept originated from the director. He confirmed that their involvement was a direct response to Raj’s request to feature the artists behind the music that has defined the series’ auditory identity.
Beyond the title track, the series has featured a diverse soundtrack designed to complement its familial themes. Notable additions to the musical score include:
“Se Manale”: Composed, arranged, and performed by Shahriar Marcell, with lyrics provided by Tariq Tuhin.
“Jani Na”: A duet composed and performed by Prattyay Khan alongside Susmita, featuring lyrics by Siam Sarkar.
Since its debut on 5 November 2025, “Eta Amaderi Golpo” has maintained a consistent broadcast slot on Channel i, airing every Tuesday and Wednesday at 9:30 pm. Following the television broadcast, episodes were released digitally on the Cinemawala YouTube channel every Wednesday and Thursday at 12:00 pm.
For the concluding week, the production house has announced a revised schedule for the final two segments:
Episode 51 (“The Last Chapter”): Displacing the usual Wednesday slot, this episode will be released on Thursday, 7 May, at 12:00 pm.
Episode 52 (The Grand Finale): This mega-episode, spanning 92 minutes, will be broadcast on Friday, 8 May, at 3:00 pm.
The series has achieved significant commercial success in the digital sphere. Most notably, the 50th episode made history within the domestic entertainment industry by becoming the fastest Bangladeshi series episode to surpass 10 million views on YouTube.
Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raj developed the series using the Pakistani drama “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum” as a creative touchstone, subsequently adapting the narrative to reflect the specific nuances of Bangladeshi family culture. The plot focuses on the complexities of domestic relationships, juxtaposing familial conflict with the strength of internal bonds.
The series features a prominent ensemble cast, including:
Lead Performances: Irfan Sazzad, Khairul Basar, Keya Payel, and Sunerah Binte Kamal.
Supporting Roles: Nader Chowdhury, Shilpi Sarkar Apu, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, MNU Raju, Mukit Zakaria, Deakon Noor, Ishrat Atithi, and Aditi Zaman Sneha.
The production has been praised for its technical execution and the realistic portrayal of intergenerational dynamics, contributing to its status as one of the most-watched family dramas of the 2025-2026 television season. As the 52-episode journey concludes, the inclusion of the series’ musical architects serves as a formal closing gesture to the viewers who have followed the narrative over the past six months.
