Dhaka, 11 January 2026 — Bangladesh National Insurance Company Ltd (BNIC) successfully held its Annual Business Development Conference 2026 on Saturday at the prestigious Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, according to a company press release. The conference, a key event in BNIC’s corporate calendar, brought together senior management, branch officials, and distinguished industry leaders to reflect on past achievements and outline strategic objectives for the coming year.
The event was graced by Mostafa Kamal, Chairman and Managing Director of Meghna Group of Industries, as the chief guest. Renowned both as one of Bangladesh’s leading industrialists and a committed social worker, Mr Kamal delivered an inspiring address emphasising the importance of innovation, compliance, and sustainable growth in the insurance sector.

In his concluding remarks, the chairman urged officials to accelerate business growth while ensuring strict adherence to the directives of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) and the Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA). He stressed that compliance, transparency, and operational efficiency would remain central to BNIC’s strategy in 2026.
