On Sunday, 21 September, Barcelona hosted Getafe at the Camp Nou in La Liga, delivering a commanding performance to secure a 3–0 victory. The Catalan club asserted their dominance throughout the match, leaving no doubt about their superiority on the pitch.

Match Highlights

• First Half:
Barcelona drew first blood in the 15th minute. Dani Olmo converted a clever back-heel flick inside the box after receiving a pass from Raphinha, scoring from just outside the six-yard area. Shortly after, Ferran Torres doubled the lead in the 34th minute, striking a powerful shot from outside the box to beat the advancing goalkeeper. Torres had the chance for a first-half hat-trick, but Pedri’s through ball led to a right-footed shot that hit the crossbar.
• Second Half:
In the 60th minute, coach Hansi Flick substituted Torres and Frenkie de Jong for Fermin Lopez and Marc Casado. Two minutes later, Olmo added the third goal. Cutting in from the right side into the box, Olmo finished with a composed low shot after a cut-back from Marcus Rashford, who had scored twice in the Champions League two days earlier. This sealed a comprehensive victory for the home side.
