DHAKA, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), the state-run news agency, has entered into a partnership with Delta Life Insurance Company Limited to provide group life insurance coverage for its permanent journalists, officials, and employees.
The agreement was formalised on Sunday at the BSS office in the Purana Paltan area of Dhaka. The arrangement will be valid for three years, with the option for annual renewals thereafter.
The contract was signed by Mahbub Morshed, the Chief Editor and Managing Director of BSS, and Uttam Kumar Sadhu, the CEO of Delta Life Insurance Company Limited, on behalf of their respective organisations.
Representatives from both sides were present at the signing ceremony. On behalf of BSS, attendees included Managing Editor Md. Fazlul Huq, Chief News Editor Md. Manikul Azad, Chief Reporter G.M. Rajib Hossain, Chief Administrative Officer Mohammad Ali Khan, and Chief Accounts Officer Md. Jashim Uddin. Delta Life Insurance Company was represented by Vice President Farhad Hossain and Executive Vice President Rajib Kanti Saha.
This agreement marks a significant step in securing financial protection for BSS employees through a well-established life insurance scheme.
