Miscreants set fire to a bus of Shatabdi Paribahan in front of Sony Cinema Hall at Mirpur-1 in the capital. The incident took place around 12:30 pm on Wednesday (November 12). The matter was confirmed by Shah Ali Police Station Duty Officer Sub-Inspector (SI) Ripon.
He stated that around 12:30 pm, miscreants suddenly set the bus on fire in front of Sony Cinema Hall at Mirpur-1.
Local residents reported that several individuals arrived on motorcycles and suddenly set the Shatabdi Paribahan bus ablaze. People nearby became panicked and started running in different directions. Following the incident, panic spread throughout the area.
