Dhaka Bank Wins Two Awards at Mastercard Excellence Awards 2025

Dhaka Bank was honoured at the Mastercard Excellence Awards 2025, securing two prestigious accolades for its outstanding contributions to Bangladesh’s banking and financial sectors. The awards ceremony, held on 22 November 2025 at the Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel in Dhaka, recognised excellence across various categories within the banking, payments, and financial industries in Bangladesh.

Dhaka Bank was awarded Excellence in Mastercard Business Co-Brands 2024-25 and Excellence in Financial Inclusion 2024-25, acknowledging the bank’s significant achievements in enhancing secure payment services and expanding financial access to a broader customer base across the country.

A M M Moyen Uddin, Deputy Managing Director of Dhaka Bank, accepted the awards on behalf of the institution from Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank. The event was attended by numerous high-profile representatives from Mastercard, leading banks, fintech firms, merchants, and other stakeholders in the payments sector.

Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Hon’ble Governor of Bangladesh Bank, served as the Chief Guest.

Md. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, was the Special Guest.

Senior officials from Dhaka Bank, including Md. Mostaque Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director and Akhlaqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director, were also present.

The theme of the ceremony, "Inspired by Future", highlighted the importance of strengthening reliable digital financial services and the continuous progress in providing customer-centric solutions. The awards acknowledged Dhaka Bank's dedication to financial inclusion and its role in expanding access to modern financial tools for all segments of society.
